JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A shooting was reported around 12:50 p.m. at 3100 Phyllis Street, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot inside his home by an unknown suspect. According to police, the suspect arrived in a black sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.
The suspect fired several rounds into the home, striking the victim in the leg before driving off in an unknown direction, according to JSO.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
