Since Action News Jax broke this story at 5 on Tuesday, questions have surrounded the state Robinson and the woman passenger. Both appeared to be asleep or passed out when officers arrived.

Robinson also allegedly remained passed out throughout most of the rescue and when he did wake up was confused. There are also questions about the investigation into the crash and how an officer on scene checked Robinson for impairment. Sheriff Mike Williams announced Wednesday afternoon that JSO will review the officers' response to the crash.

The 911 call doesn't answer everything but it does help us piece together more of what exactly happened after the crash.

Caller: “I'm here at Southside and Beach Boulevard

Dispatcher: “Southside and Beach?”

Caller: “Yes and there's a car in a retention pond. It's just there right in front of me and came right into the retention pond. … The car is sinking, it's sinking and nobody is moving from the car.”

Action News Jax's Michael Yoshida spoke to Winifred Henry, the woman who made that call. Henry said Robinson's car was going below the speed limit when he crashed.

“I was just praying the entire time that they would be OK. And I'm thankful that they were,” Henry said.

A woman passenger was also inside the Chevy Malibu with Robinson.

911 Operator: “You said you didn't see anybody get out of the car?”

Henry: “No, nobody is out of the car. It just happened 2 minutes ago.”

Henry spoke to the 911 operator while her son Antonio ran down to the water to see if he could help.

“I didn't know who it was at that point in time. But happy to hear one of the Jaguars players alright," Antonio Henry said.

When officers arrived, Robinson and the woman appeared to be asleep or passed out in the car. According to the crash report, Robinson was asleep or passed out for most of the rescue and when he did wake up, he seemed confused, not even realizing the car was in water. Action News Jax asked Antonio Henry what he saw when he walked up to the car.

“No, they was asleep. They was knocked out cold. They was knocked out,” Antonio Henry said.

An officer at the scene did not feel Robinson was impaired. No citation was issued and no injuries were reported.

“My concern was that whomever was in the car that they would be OK,” Winifred Henry said.

“It wasn't nothing but God. That's all it was,” Antonio Henry said.

Antonio Henry said he and his mother were actually in a rush to get his father some medicine when they witnessed the crash. Henry said he’s glad they were around to call 911.
