Schools in Lake City are on lockdown due to Friday storms.
School officials said several schools in the Lake City area were on lockdown, but didn't specify which ones were effected. Officials are expected to provide more information soon.
Damage has also been reported in Union and Columbia counties following storms Friday moving across the area.
Large trees were reported down in both counties, according to reports.
A tree was reported down near Washington Street and Norris Drive in Columbia County. A twitter user also reported a tree on a home in Lake City.

A tree was also reported down in the area near County Road 241 and State Road 238 in Union County.
There is also a report of a tree down on a power line in the area of State Road 16 just east of State Road 121 in Union County.
