Action News Jax has learned a troubled Clay County motel has been ordered to close next month.
The Parkway Inn, formerly known as the Rodeway Inn, has been a hot spot for crime for years.
The Town of Orange Park's attorney said a judge has ordered the motel closed from July 1 through December 31. At that time, the nuisance abatement jurisdiction expires and the motel can reopen.
We've been investigating the motel since last year because of the multiple meth raids and other crimes that have been a common sight at the troubled location.
