Jail records show Nelson Armas booked Feb 2 on unrelated domestic.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A grand jury has issued a murder indictment for the ex-boyfriend of a Florida woman who disappeared earlier this year.

Nelson Armas, 28, was indicted Wednesday of first-degree murder, grand theft and tampering with evidence.

Armas' ex-girlfriend, 23-year-old Hannah Brim, disappeared in January and is believed to be dead.

Police said video surveillance from January shows Armas leaving Brim's car in a store parking lot and returning four days later to retrieve it.

Police said he took the car to a junkyard, and detectives later found blood evidence in the trunk.
