JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — CareerSource Northeast Florida is hosting a series of Career Connect job recruitment events and a virtual hiring fair throughout August 2026.
The events will bring together regional employers from health care, public safety, transportation and other sectors to recruit job seekers across Northeast Florida.
CareerSource Northeast Florida provides workforce services for Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties. Job seekers planning to participate in any recruitment event are required to create a profile on employflorida.com before attending.
The Southside Career Center, located at 11268 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville, will host a health care-focused recruitment event from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 12. Participating health care employers include American In-Home Care, Angel Kids Pediatrics, Right at Home Yulee and One Healing Pathway.
Other participating employers include Bye Bye Dust Bunnies, the Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department, Wounded Warrior Project and Transportation Property Solutions (dba Road & Rail Services). CareerSource staff will offer one-on-one resume reviews for attendees prior to the event.
A Virtual Hiring and Education Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participating employers and educational institutions include American Recruiting and Consulting Group, AtWork Personnel, Dovida Jacksonville, FDOT’s Statewide Workforce Development, Gardner Watson Decking Inc., Metric Engineering Inc., the Florida Department of Transportation, The Learning Experience, Thermo King of North Florida, Titan America and Nova Southeastern University.
Additional in-person Career Connect events will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at various county career centers throughout the month. On Tuesday, Aug. 11, an event at the Putnam County Career Center, 400 Highway 19 North, Suite 93, in Palatka, will feature Veritas Steel and the Putnam Department of Corrections.
