CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol has reported a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on County Road 218 and Ola Padgett Road.
A silver GMC Yukon traveling westbound on CR-218 crossed the center lane into the eastbound lane where a red Toyota Tacoma was traveling.
The two vehicles crashed head-on and the driver of the Tacoma, a 23-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
