GoFundMe set up for women killed in wrong-way crash on Hart Bridge in Jacksonville

The family says Jaquana D’Oliveira was coming back from a concert with her co-worker Kendra Black when they were killed.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The two women who died in a wrong-way crash on the Hart Bridge have been identified by a family member on a GoFundMe page.

The family says Jaquana D’Oliveira was coming back from a concert with her co-worker Kendra Black when they were killed.

Action News Jax first reported the deadly crash Monday, when Florida Highway Patrol said the women were driving the wrong way on the Hart Bridge just after midnight on Monday.

D’Oliveira’s family says Jaquana is a triplet and one of her triplet siblings, Laquita, had also attended the concert with her but the two drove separately.

FHP said they crashed into a Jacksonville Transportation Authority bus that was out of service at the time. The driver of the bus was uninjured.

Jaquana’s triplet sibling, Laquita, is listed as an organizer on her GoFundMe.

According to the fundraiser, Jaquana did not have life insurance. The family said, “We as the family are pouring our hearts out to ask anyone who will help and donate what they can to bury our beloved Jaquana.”
