Only Action News Jax spoke to the 14-year-old confronted by a carjacker.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office now says that thief is 18-year-old Robert Brinson.
Brinson is the same man JSO said led officers on a chase on Tuesday night that ended with a crash involving an officer.

Teen Aaliyah McMillion said Brinson told her get out or get shot. But she said before that happened, she noticed something suspicious and was about to take action when he jumped in the car.
"I was sitting in the backseat and the guy was pacing back and forth in front of the car and I was thinking I need to get up and lock the doors because I know something is about to happen,” McMillion said.
McMillion said seconds later, that stranger jumped in the car and threatened her.
“He was like 'Do you want to get shot?' and I was like 'No' and he was like 'So I suggest you get out,'” McMillion said.
The carjacking happened last Wednesday at Walgreens on North Davis Street. McMillion grabbed her things, jumped out and ran inside to her grandmother and mother.

Aaliyah’s mother Crystal McMillion said, “We wasn’t even in the store five minutes when my daughter came running in saying somebody had took the car.”
Six days after the carjacking, the car was involved in a police chase after officers saw the vehicle in swerving in the road. The chase ended when the car crashed into a tree and an officer’s cruiser crashed into a house. Brinson tried to run but was caught. A woman and small child were also in the car when it crashed.
The McMillions are just thankful they’re OK.
“All that’s important was that I didn’t get hurt or anything,” Aaliyah McMillion said.
“The things that was inside the car can be replaced but my daughter’s life cannot,” Crystal McMillion said.
