JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters announced multiple staff appointments and transfers Monday.
Waters named Mark Romano as undersheriff Monday after announcing the retirement of Undersheriff Shawn Coarsey on Sunday.
In a press release, the sheriff’s office announced the additional staff changes are effective immediately:
- Alan Parker, currently serving as the Director of Services, will transfer to Director of Patrol and Enforcement.
- Michael Shell, currently serving as the Chief of Homeland Security, is appointed to Director of Services.
- Jordan Dowling, currently serving as the Commander of Specialized Investigations, is appointed to Chief of Homeland Security.
- Jose Cheeseborough, currently serving as the Lieutenant of the Crime Gun Intelligence Center and Gang Unit, is appointed to Commander of Specialized Investigations.
T.K. Waters congratulated the “agency members on their well-earned career advancements.”
