Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a person shot on the northwest Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a person shot 2900 West 12th Street.

When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to his lower body.

He was transported to the hospital with non life threatening conditions.

The investigation has revealed the victim was outside at the location when he was shot by an unknown suspect who was inside a vehicle. The vehicle then fled the area.
