Officers are searching for suspects after two deadly shootings miles apart in Jacksonville.

Police released surveillance images of a man and car after a woman was killed and another person was injured in a shooting at a gas station in Brentwood early Sunday morning.

Then on Sunday afternoon, a man was killed while bicycling in a Lackawanna neighborhood, 5 miles from the gas station.

Aside from the surveillance images, no suspects have been named in either shooting.

“It's sad, senseless killing,” said Chris Murray-Thomas, whose cousin was killed in Lackawanna.

He said Terry Thomas was killed while biking to his aunt’s house on Hunts Road.

“I love my cousin, and whoever did it I hope you all get caught," said Murray-Thomas.

Other family members said Terry Thomas was someone who would do anything for others.

Neighbors told Action News Jax he was very polite and friendly.

"He was a quite young man,” said neighbor Taffiena Bacon. “Very, very polite. Very, very friendly. And like I said, he was like a son to me."

Police are asking anyone with information about either shooting to call Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.

To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000 contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
