JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Officials on Wednesday investigated the Smoker's Video locations in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, along with other local and state agencies, were at the locations on Beach Boulevard, Normandy Boulevard and Emerson Street.

Search warrants were served at the three locations in connection with the sale of synthetic drugs.

It is not known how many people were possibly arrested.

JSO said Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi along with other officials will give more information Thursday.

Kenny Holmes works next to the Emerson Street store. He said it’s not hard for him to believe the store sells synthetic marijuana.

“I don’t know what that stuff really does to these people, but I know they get a lot of business on it,” said Holmes.

Holmes said he and his fellow employees see the effects first-hand.

“They smoke in the side parking lot, and they get goofy “ said Holmes. “That’s what we’ve been dealing with. It’s kind of sad to see some of these younger kids that are doing it.”
