Anheuser-Busch shipping drinking water to Puerto Rico from Jacksonville

In the wake of Hurricane Maria, Anheuser-Busch will workf with the American Red Cross to distribute water throughout Puerto Rico, the company said Friday.

Anheuser-Busch will ship 250,000 cans of emergency drinking water from Jacksonville to Puerto Rico for those in need.

In partnership with Macy’s, Anheuser-Busch will send an additional 25,000 cans of emergency drinking water to be distributed by Macy’s staff across the island.

Anheuser-Busch periodically pauses beer production throughout the year at its Georgia brewery to produce clean, safe emergency drinking water in preparation for when disasters hit.
