Jacksonville Jaguars contact tracing technology could work in schools

Jacksonville, Fla. — North American company called Kinexon created a device that tracks how close you get to people.

When you get within six feet, it sends an alarm. It also tracks who you get close to so if there’s a positive COVID test, contact tracing is easier.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are using it now.

All players, coaches, and staff wear it while at TIAA Bank Field.

It can be worn as a lanyard, watch, or sweatband.

The technology can also help other companies as the economy opens up including manufacturing, offices, and schools/universities.
