JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — There were no restaurants shut down in this week's Restaurant Report, but Action News Jax saw a smorgasbord of high-priority violations.
At Biscottis Expresso Café on St. Johns Avenue in Jacksonville, a health inspector noted temperature issues with cold food held too warm and warm food held too cold.

Inspectors also noted weak dish machine sanitizer and issued a stop sale on wonton wrappers that had a mold-like substance. A follow-up inspection was done and Biscotti’s received no violations.
Inspectors went to La NoPalera #8 in Orange Park.
A health inspector saw expired salsa, lettuce and queso in the refrigerator, no time markings on cooked food and noticed two pieces of candy stored in the ice used for drinks. A follow-up inspection is required.

At Sonny’s Real Pit BBQ in Orange Park, a health inspector witnessed an employee touch dirty dishes then touch food without washing their hands.
The health inspector also noted weak dish machine sanitizer and cleaning chemicals stored over to-go containers. It met inspection requirements because all issues were corrected on site.
