Jacksonville's Tinseltown area is about to get a new craft brewery and taproom.
Bottlenose Brewery plans to open its doors in early March at the former World of Beer location in Tinseltown.
A company spokesperson says the location will eventually brew its own beer but first will boast an unparalleled selection of beers from Jacksonville and the state of Florida.
Bottlenose Brewery social media manager Jordan De Lugo said the idea for the new brewery came together very quickly.
He said Mark Stillman, majority owner of Green Room Brewing at Jacksonville Beach, wanted to start a new venture for a while but was looking for the right opportunity.

That opportunity presented itself when World of Beer shut its doors in August.
De Lugo said the building needed some work. He said the kitchen space left behind by World of Beer was lacking, so they added more equipment in order to serve a larger menu.
He said there's also some cosmetic work that will take some time but the taproom will eventually feature 50 taps from Jacksonville and throughout Florida.
The location will add 15 new jobs to the area, and the company is already hosting open interviews.
No official date has been set for the grand opening.
