JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is investigating a possible arson of the City of Jacksonville’s official Christmas tree.
JFRD responded to a fire in James Weldon Johnson park at 3 a.m. Friday morning. When crews arrived, the found the tree burning.
“It appears the Grinch may be responsible for the arson,” according to a post by Engine Company 1.
