MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said charges are pending in a head-on crash that injured four people.
The crash happened Saturday around 2:20 p.m. on Blanding Boulevard near Santa Clara Avenue.
A Chevrolet Silverado driven by 19-year-old Regan Spinks, of Fleming Island, was traveling southbound on Blanding Boulevard. Several witnesses told FHP that the Silverado crossed the double yellow line and crashed head-on into an Acura that was traveling northbound.
The Silverado overturned and Spinks was ejected from the vehicle, FHP said. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The 69-year-old woman who was driving the Acura had to be pulled from the vehicle by Clay County Fire Rescue personnel. She and a passenger in her vehicle, a 49-year-old woman, were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Spinks was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in his truck, a 20-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
