JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Duval County High School students will have a chance to attend a college fair this year, except it’s virtual.

The National College Fair will feature over 600 colleges and universities. The event will feature live sessions, interactive workshops, and chances for one-on-one sessions with college representatives.

The fair will be all day Sunday, Oct. 18. This program will be dedicated for junior and senior students, but any student will be able to attend.

“These fairs offer juniors and seniors a chance to hear firsthand from those-in-the-know at hundreds of colleges and universities nearby, across the country, and around the world,” Bernadette Hardeman Strong, a DCPS supervisor, said. “The pandemic should not put a damper on students dreams to attend college. Find a college and apply.”

The fair will kick off a week in Duval County Schools that will focus on college applications and getting ready for post-secondary education.
