COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla — According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, a pickup truck was traveling westbound on US Highway 90 at the same time a sedan was traveling eastbound.

For reasons still under investigation, the pick up truck veered left crossing the center line and collided head-on with the sedan. After the collision the truck reportedly flipped down the westbound lanes multiple times. The sedan also flipped as it continued traveling south.

The truck came to final rest on the south grass shoulder. Both drivers were pronounced deceased on scene
