Deputies searching for man last seen Jan. 10 at Lake City pawn shop

Deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who hasn’t been seen since he visited a Columbia County pawn shop.

Brian Lawrence Sharpe, 46, was last seen at 3:50 p.m. Jan. 10 at American Pawn Brokers on Southwest Main Boulevard in Lake City.

More Jacksonville residents say they've had men knocking on their doors, asking about home security

He was last seen driving a white 1997 Ford F-250 with Florida tag M979JT.

Sharpe told his family that his wallet and phone were stolen a week before he disappeared, but he didn’t say where.

Investigators said everything, including his personal items, appear to be in place at his home.

When woman, 89, couldn't live alone anymore, her neighbor did something completely selfless

They said Sharpe has not posted anything to social media. His family said it’s very unusual and uncharacteristic of him to not be in contact with them.

Deputies said he has friends and family all over Florida.

They are asking anyone with information about Sharpe’s whereabouts to call CCSO at 386-719-2005.
