Lake City — With just three days left before the start of Christmas break, Columbia County Schools say the remainder of the week will be optional to all students.
According to a statement from the office of the Columbia County Superintendent student attendance starting Wednesday, December 16th thru Friday, December 18th will be optional due to rising COVID-19 cases.
Officials say any student who does not attend school will have their absence(s) excused.
