Jacksonville, Fl — A cold front gradually passes over Northeast Florida today with skies clearing and sunshine returning. Winds will shift to out of the north, funneling drier and cooler temperatures.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says storms on Wednesday brought the most consequential rainfall since Tropical Storm Nicole in early November. More than 1′' of rain was recorded at JAX Airport. Most of the area saw around a half inch.

Afternoon temperatures today are mild in the mid-70s before cooler temps overnight, in the low and mid-40s.
Friday looks fantastic with wall-to-wall sunshine and temperatures in the mid-60s - right at average.
We wake up on Saturday to the upper 30s to lower 40s and rise to the upper 60s in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop into the 50s for the Jaguars game on Saturday night. Kickoff is just after 8:00 pm. Listen to ESPN 690 for pre-game/tailgate coverage beginning at 4:00 pm.
Sunday and Monday are looking more mild but not uncomfortable. Temperatures will be in the low 70s with partly sunny skies.
