'Cyber rifle' shoots drones out of the sky

It's kind of like a fly swatter for DRONES.

Popular Mechanics says it's a Tactical Cyber Rifle.

But it doesn't shoot bullets.

It sends out a radio signal that jams a drone's communication, and it falls from the sky.

The rifle doesn't even have to be in the shape of a rifle.

They just do that because it looks cool.

The Army is testing it and says troops could build one in the field in a few hours instead of waiting for bulky units to be delivered.
