JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on Interstate 295 near Butler Boulevard.
According to troopers, 43-year-old Bret Castleberry was hit by a dark-colored SUV that didn't stop around 5:30 Saturday morning in the southbound lanes of I-295.

FHP said Castleberry lost control and slid down an embankment into oncoming traffic.
All southbound lanes of I-295 were closed along with all westbound lanes of JTB were closed. Traffic in the area was flowing normally by 10:30 a.m.
