JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The district is offering an ESOL Summer Maintenance program for our English speakers of other languages.

The deadline for parents to enroll is next Friday, May 19

Like our other summer offerings, this program:

  • Is a six-week program that offers currently enrolled ESOL students in grades K through 12 the opportunity to enhance their English language acquisition skills.
  • It provides students opportunities to participate in rigorous and engaging learning activities related to social, academic, and culturally responsive experiences.
  • Dates of program: June 12 - July 21. Monday – Friday/ Hours: 8 AM - Noon.
  • Transportation: Provided only to student’s zoned school.
  • Elementary program sites: Chets Creek Elementary, Fort Caroline Elementary, New Berlin Elementary, Spring Park Elementary, Venetia Elementary
  • Secondary program sites: Riverside High, Sandalwood High
