JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Naval Air Station Jacksonville has issued and all-clear after a suspicious package was found in one of the buildings.
According to NAS Jax’s Facebook page, the security team closed the gates earlier this morning to investigate, but the team found it was not a threat.
NAS’s Jax’s spokesperson said the gates are back open, but traffic is still slow in the area. Drivers are warned to expect delays and to use caution.
