JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After a fire broke out at the Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q on Skinner Lake Drive near Town Center Monday night, the owner, Joe Adeeb, tells Action News Jax that the restaurant is a “total loss.”

According to Adeeb, the fire started in the smoker area.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue said there were no customers inside at the time of the fire, but four people were closing up the business.
The fire was under control in about 50 minutes. There were no injuries.
Adeeb says he wants to believe that the fire was an accident, but something seems slightly off.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating what lead to the fire.
