JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: A woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle has died after colliding with a car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, troopers said a Honda Civic, being driven by a 18-year-old woman, was traveling westbound on 103rd Street and made a left turn on Ricker Road. FHP said during the turn, the car cut in front of a motorcycle traveling eastbound on 103rd Street, causing the motorcycle to hit the side of the car.
Both the driver and the passenger on the motorcycle were and thrown off, FHP said. They were rushed to
Orange Park Medical Center with serious injuries. The 38-year-old passenger of the motorcycle died of her injuries, according to the FHP traffic report, and the 43-year-old driver was said to be in critical condition. Their identities have not been released. The Honda Civic driver was not hurt.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department tweeted that crews are working a crash on 103rd Street and Ricker Road involving a car and a motorcycle.
JFRD said multiple people were seriously injured in the crash.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said all eastbound lanes of 103rd Street at Ricker are closed due to the crash.
The injuries are categorized as serious injuries.
