Keylee Franco and her family drove in from Atlanta. The annual Peach Drop there was canceled the past two years because of COVID.

Florida experienced a record-breaking one-week surge in COVID-19 cases prompting doctors to warn people to limit celebrations.
St. Augustine Beach’s annual fireworks show went on, but the usual festivities in the park were canceled this year with the threat of omicron.
