JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The homicide unit from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a woman dead in the 9100 block of Baymeadows Road on Sunday.
The shooting happened around 6:48 p.m., police say. Detectives are interviewing witnesses to determine what led to the shooting. There is no suspect information at this time.
As part of the investigation, Krystal fast-food restaurant and Gate gas station have been roped off.
