JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police said they received multiple calls from neighbors who reported hearing gunfire at the Eden’s Edge apartment complex on Wilson Boulevard.
Officers responded to the area between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Monday and found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said multiple shots were fired and the “victim was fortunate” he wasn’t hurt worse or killed.
Detectives are working to learn if the suspect was in or out of a car when they shooting happened.
