Non-profit offers free dental care to those in need

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Community Health Outreach, a non-profit in Jacksonville, is seeing a great need for dental care with many people out of work due to COVID-19.

The non-profit offers free dental and medical care through their dental clinic on Timuquana Road.

“The patients come in. They are screened financially to make sure there is a need. They’re also screened medically to make sure that they’re not to higher risk of our clinic here,” Dr. Glenn Forhan said. He has his own dental practice in Jacksonville but volunteers his time once a month at the clinic.
