Public ice-skating sessions during Spring Break at Jacksonville Ice

Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex is offering additional public ice-skating sessions on Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 22 for Spring Break. Duval County schools will be out for Spring Break March 9-13 and St. John’s County schools will be out March 16-20.

“The weather is unseasonably cold right now in Jacksonville,” said Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex owner, Mark Scheff, “We’re encouraging kids to embrace the cool weather during spring break and head on to the ice.”

Monday through Friday, Jacksonville Ice will offer a public ice-skating session from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and an additional Spring Break session from 1:00 p.m. EST – 3:00 p.m. Along with the regular daytime skating hours, the rink is open Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 9:00pm for Family Fun BOGO Night, where guests can buy one full-priced admission and get the second completely free. In addition to Friday’s spring break sessions, the rink will also be open from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Jacksonville Ice is continuing to host their Winter Saturdays with extended public ice skating every Saturday in March. During Winter Saturdays, ice skating sessions are available from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Public ice-skating is also available on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
