JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — More than a dozen semis sit parked at Rinaudo Enterprises in Picketville.
They’re similar to the one driven by a man police say fired shots at officers on a busy interstate in Baldwin on Thursday morning.
Missey Kirkland says she eats breakfast near where it happened.
“It’s just terrible, sad, but it happens every day,” said Kirkland.
Action News Jax was there as the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office searched a van at Rinaudo Enterprises.
It’s the same company name Action News Jax investigates spotted on the semi that the shooter was driving.

Action News Jax reporter Jamarlo Phillips went to Rinaudo Enterprises to try to find a connection to the driver.
A worker asked him to leave the property and said the owner left to go to the hospital.
“I just hope they don’t have kids because Christmas is right around the corner,” said Kirkland.
Kirkland says these shootings happen far too often in the city.
“It has gotten, worse too, in Jacksonville because usually this is a quiet town, real quiet,” Kirkland said.
Phillips called a number for the business, but the person who answered said they were not interested in talking and hung up.
