JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A restaurant chain that says it’s “so much more than your typical sports bar,” is hiring for its Jacksonville location.
Action News Jax first told you about plans in the works for the first Twin Peaks in town in December. The Jacksonville location is hiring more than 140 team members for various positions, including:
- Twin Peaks Girls
- Heart of House
Interested candidates can stop by the restaurant from Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to apply in person.
“We love the growth we’re having here and are excited to open the first of many future lodges in North Florida,” Twin Peaks CEO Joe Hummel said in a news release. “We can’t wait to introduce the number-one sports bar to the Jacksonville community and join in cheering on everyone’s favorite teams or athletes while enjoying an ice-cold beer and freshly made burger. We’re looking for quality people to join our team too, so come check out why Twin Peaks isn’t just a great place to hang out, but also a great place to work!”
The new Twin Peaks is near Kernan Boulevard and is right next to Jolibee.
The restaurant was previously home to a Johnny Carino’s Italian restaurant, which closed, and then Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant, which moved its Jacksonville location down the street to the Harbour Place shopping center.
Twin Peaks says on its website it welcomes guests with “an environment reminiscent of a comfortable cabin in the mountains.” In addition to its signature 29-degree draft beer, it serves tacos, burgers, flatbreads and wings.
The Jacksonville restaurant will be Twin Peaks’ 11th Florida location. There are currently 10 Twin Peaks locations in Florida -- three in the Orlando area, one in Daytona Beach, one in Fort Myers and five in South Florida.
