JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Winds out of the east/southeast will continue much of this week, modifying temps. A bit with highs in the 80s at the beaches to around 90 inland. A few showers will occur in the morning from I-95 to the beaches, with locally heavy rain shifting more inland in the afternoon & early evening. A nearby upper-level disturbance plus the remnants of Dolly may bring an uptick in rainfall Wednesday.
- By the weekend, west winds will develop & temps. will trend hotter, ranging from near 90 at the beaches to the mid 90s inland with a few showers & storms each afternoon.

Tropics:
- Tracking: T.D. #5 over the far Northern Gulf south of Louisiana forecast to make landfall on the upper Texas coast/far SW Louisiana late Tue./early Wed. as a tropical storm (“Edouard”) – no local impacts. Remnants of Dolly are not likely to redevelop but will combine with a disturbance east of Florida to produce more rain across the local area Wednesday.
