Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Higher humidity will return over the weekend along with high temperatures in the mid 80s to near 90, so summer-like for the last weekend of summer as autumn arrives Tuesday.
- There will be a few showers and isolated storms each day, but plenty of dry hours too.
- Keep an eye out for any lightning, waiting at least 30 minutes after the last thunder before going back outside.
- A high rip current risk will continue at area beaches.
- There will be scattered showers and storms to start the new workweek continuing through mid-week.
