JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Milder temps. With winds off the Atlantic. A few showers early in the morning near the beaches transitioning inland through the middle of the day into the afternoon. Highs will be in the 80s at the beaches to low 90s inland.
- By the weekend, west/southwest winds will develop & temps. will trend hotter, ranging from near 90 at the beaches to the mid 90s inland with a few showers & storms each afternoon.

Tropics:
- Tracking: Edouard made landfall about 3:20 pm EDT near the Texas/Louisiana state line as a tropical storm with the strongest sustained winds near 60 mph. Edouard will now wind down inland over East Texas, producing heavy rain. No local impacts. No other areas of concern across the Atlantic. Next name: “Fay”.
