JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- This evening will be warm and humid with a few showers/storms moving southeast.
- Tuesday will be very hot with high temperatures of 95-100 degrees across the region.
- The humidity will allow feels-like temperatures to soar to 108-112°F, with a few locations briefly topping 113°F. Everyone should practice heat safety by staying hydrated and limiting outdoor work during the hottest part of the day.
- A few showers and storms will develop tomorrow afternoon, primarily across northeast Florida. Some will contain heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds.
- Wednesday will feature scattered afternoon storms across northeast Florida, but temperatures will remain very hot beforehand.
- The Jags preseason game Friday will feature hot temperatures in the 90s (feels like 100s) but cooling during the game from sunset and/or a few areas of rain.
