JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida Country Superfest is moving out of Jacksonville and changing its name.
Action News Jax reached out to the city this afternoon and confirmed it will not host the country music event any more.

The event organizers, Festival Productions Inc., said in a statement that a "change in corporate strategy" led them to bring the event to Daytona Beach. The organizers also cited a "successful two-year run" for Florida Country Superfest in Jacksonville.
The newly named Country 500 will take place at Daytona International Speedway on Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, 2016.
The lineup at Country 500 will include Willie Nelson, Lady Antebellum, Kid Rock, Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan.
