Former professional Football player Tim Tebow announced his engagement to Miss Universe winner Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters Thursday afternoon on Instagram.

Tebow, 31, posted an image of him proposing to Nel-Peters, 23, at his family’s Jacksonville, Florida, property.
Tebow played at Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He then went on to the University of Florida to play football as a starting quarterback.
Tebow shorty played in the NFL, then left to pursue a career in professional baseball. Currently, the athlete plays in Minor League Baseball for the Mets organization.
