HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Hernando County detectives are asking for help in their search for a man who is wanted on sexual battery charges.
Police said 41-year-old David Deine Sr. is wanted by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office on felony charges including sexual battery with physical force, battery/strangulation and sexual battery of a victim over 12 years old.
He was last seen Feb. 25 in the Spring Hill area of Hernando County and may be traveling to Miami, New York, California or Puerto Rico.
Police believe that he is driving a 2007 Blue Suzuki Forenza with a Florida license plate that reads GEED86.
Deine is described as a white man who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.
He is bald and has brown eyes.
