Navy training schedules indicate carrier-based jet fighters and other types of aircraft will be conducting training out of NAS Jacksonville Sept. 15-25. Aircraft participating in the training are currently arriving on station.
Residents in neighborhoods surrounding NAS Jacksonville may notice an increase in aircraft activity and noise during this training period.

This training is in support of aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) operations.
USS Dwight D. Eisenhower is the 10th Nimitz-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, named after the 34th President of the United States.
