Jacksonville native turns four chairs in blind auditions on 'The Voice'

A Jacksonville native made an appearance on Season 16 of 'The Voice', a singing competition that airs on NBC.

During the blind auditions, where celebrity coaches have their backs turned to you, Matthew Johnson performed his rendition of the song, "I Smile" by gospel artist Kirk Franklin.

Johnson's performance persuaded coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton to turn around, giving him the chance to pick which coach he would like to continue throughout the competition.

Johnson picked John Legend as his coach.
