'Massive' Super Bowl stadium replica made of sandwiches created by Jacksonville's Firehouse Subs

A Super Bowl stadium replica made out of sandwiches from a Jacksonville-based shop is so big it can't fit through Levi's Stadium's standard doors.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The replica of the stadium was constructed using 103 pounds of Firehouse Subs meat, 10 pounds of cheese and other Super Bowl snacks.

Firehouse Subs teamed up with Ace of Cakes, Food Network Challenge and Holiday Baking Championship star Duff Goldman to created the sandwich stadium.

With help from his bakery team in Los Angeles, Goldman included well-known San Francisco landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, TransAmerica pyramid and the city’s infamous trolleys.

The replica also celebrates the teams facing off on Sunday, the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.

The stadium was on display in Super Bowl City Saturday.

It will be at the Firehouse Subs restaurant in Fremont, California, on game day.
