JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 11:09 P.M. - A 7-year-old has critical injuries after a crash on the Buckman Bridge, according to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report.
The report says a Jeep Wrangler hit a Honda Pilot that was disabled on the outside lane with the emergency flashers on. The Jeep was unable to avoid the disabled car and hit the back of the car.
The 7-year-old injured was is the Honda and was wearing a seatbelt or child restraint. The child was taken to a local hospital.
The driver of the Honda, Jared Osterhage, 40, was also taken to the hospital. He had minor injuries, according to the report.
The driver of the Jeep, John Esquierdo, 34, was also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, the report said.
ORIGINAL STORY - The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said it had crews at a crash on the Buckman Bridge.
JFRD said there were multiple injuries, one person has critical injuries.
The crash is blocking multiple lanes of the Buckman Bridge.
