JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The TaxSlayor Gator Bowl and Dreams Come True signed 12 dreams to the 2019 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Dream Team Tuesday.
The dreamers are each local pediatric patients fighting life-threatening illnesses, ranging from 5 to 17 years old. The dreamers will serve as representatives and ambassadors for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl through the Dream Team.
“Every time they invite me to something like this it always makes my face light up,” Joshua Riberio, a Dreamer, said. “To kind of forget that I even have leukemia is amazing, it’s absolutely amazing.”
