DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection to an early morning armed robbery.
Officers responded around 2 a.m. Monday to a Kangaroo Express on 9901 New Kings Road.
Police said the man entered the store with a handgun, robbed it and then ran. Officers spotted a person matching the culprit’s description within minutes of the incident.
JSO said the man had a handgun and the stolen items.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
